ACTION
& ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
Laser
Clay Shooting
This brand new attraction is one of the rare activities, which can
be enjoyed indoors or out of doors and is the fastest growing sport
worldwide. This shooting sport combines skill with excitement, at
any level, and is extremely unique.
There
are no bullets fired, no recoil action, or hearing protection
required and most importantly no projectile from the gun whatsoever.
A modified shotgun fires infrared beams at clays launched from
a conventional clay launcher, whenever the trigger is pulled
the scoreboard generates a shotgun sound along with a hit or
a miss!
Even the very realistic sound of the shotgun being fired is
controllable! The game is electronic/laser, with a large visual
electronic score board to amuse both the participants and spectators. |
|
Laser
Clay Shooting can be played indoors, outdoors in daylight or at
night. For use out doors a minimum area of 30 metres x 10 metres
is required. Indoor a minimum area of 5 meters x 5 meters is required,
so it is extremely versatile. The System is completely mobile and
can be taken anywhere in the world for competitions or just fun
for all ages!!
Blind
Land Rover Driving
Yes
believe it or not, even blindfolded you can take full control of
a powerful vehicle and navigate around a challenging obstacle course.
It is not about speed but ability and control.
JCB

Ever wanted to drive a digger but could never legally manage
it? Then let us help you, as you must manoeuvre your machine
into place to move and position objects accurately to gain points.
Let’s hope that fingertip control won’t let you
down!!! |

mountains/forestry terrain, negotiating bogs, streams, gradients

views of the Glens and the challenging terrain of the forests,
encountering river crossings, hill climbs as well as tricky
man made obstacles.

BATTLE
ZONE ADVENTURES
Top Gun Events have invested in the latest state of the art,
laser shooting war game equipment, as used by armies worldwide
to train their troops. Unlike Paintball, there are no painful
paint pellets to bruise you. You do not wear a ‘smelly’
facemask that steams up impairing your vision, the range and
accuracy are far greater than paintball and most importantly
there are no hidden extra costs for ammunition etc..
All
of our guns include grenade launchers, and offer laser sights
with phenomenal accuracy. All you wear is a military helmet
and carry a gun. Fun can be had at our dedicated war game
site with many bunkers, bridges and river crossing or we can
transport our equipment to a venue of your choice. Develop
fantastic team building, competitive scenarios, whether your
battle-zone consists of machine gun manoeuvres, or grenade
launch strategies, you will be guaranteed adrenaline-filled
fun! |
|
These
are some of the Battle Zone Game scenarios: -

head with a bonus bounty for the Diplomat. The defending team must

a disc containing classified data. The parachute does not open,
resulting in sudden death. The General has ordered further men to
be dropped to rescue the disc in order to restore national security!
Defend the Coral At All Costs.
Two warring countries are in battle in the Coral Zone. The soldiers
that capture the most of the enemy in the shortest time win bonus
points but also receive a ‘come-back to-life-card’ when
you are about to bite the dust!
Seek, Destroy & Rescue the Hostage Flags
One team of soldiers have 5 lives, 50 rounds of ammunition and 10
grenades. Their mission, should they choose to accept it, is to
infiltrate the enemy camp and rescue the hostage flags. The enemy

as participants stumble and blunder their way around the course.

your country?? Well now you can, joining an array of hilarious but
very competitive Irish Games.

a compass. Puzzles will need to be solved, waypoints found, numbers
obtained for your combination lock, locate the lock zones, retrieve
the locks, try not to get shot and return to the neutral zone. Oh
and that’s only the start of it. Once in the Neutral Zone
your team will have to accomplish a number of team challenge before
all your time runs out, so as to score the most amount of points
possible. Beware of other competitors, they are armed!!!
All
participants will be equipped with a laser pulse ranger guns. You
will have to manoeuvre around the course without being killed off.
Everyone is competing against each other and the clock. Will you
be the hunted or will you become the hunter.
The
Brainteaser
Solve the sixteen brainteasers to get the message - but
you lose points for every wrong answer input into the computer.
And then when your brain is exhausted there’s a very large
model to make! The winner is the team with the highest score from
both parts of fun filled event.
Hollywood
Dream
Are you better in front of the camera of behind? Can you
write scripts, or would you be better in the make up and costume
department?
In
the Hollywood Dream you and your team will have to create a movie
with various props and themes. It had better be good to be nominated
for the Top Gun Oscar’s Ceremony! Participants are given
video cameras, CD player and a list of items required for their
movie making. The object is to shoot a 20-minute film using real
time editing. This masterpiece of cinematography will then be the
nominated for a mini Oscar Ceremony, with the various voting categories
such as best actor/actress etc.
Will you be James Bond or Brook Bond !!!!!!
Mission
Possible
This
event can be run anywhere in the world, however, we typically use
a very unusual venue to run many exciting activities, incorporating
the splendid surroundings, enhancing any event. Just outside the
infamous City of Lakes, Killarney, Ireland, there is a beautiful
wildlife sanctuary stretching over some 50 acres of scenic land.
The wild life park hosts some of the rarest animals in Ireland to
charm and entertain your participants. Lilly a ‘lunatic’
Llama, Oliver the temperamental Ostrich, Eddie the Golden Eagle,
Mischievous monkeys to name but a few.
Can
your teams discover where the cryptic clues are located before the
enemy beats them to it?? The pace is fast, the laughs are plentiful;
as competing teams negotiate their way around the carefully planned
strategic routes, working together to complete tasks, solve trivia
all within a challenging time limit. Hilarious fun!
Take
no prisoners – we need photographic evidence for those crucial
extra points. Let your imagination run wild, as the more creative
the shot the higher the points, but just remember as you attempt
to capture the Llama in your photo – it spits!!
Inflatable

| Stretch
yourself to the limit on the Bungee Run, or negotiate your way
around the Terminator Obstacle Course with numerous hidden pit
falls. Impress your Cleopatra with your Gladiator Jousting skills.

Japanese for the day whilst enjoying Sumo Wresting. These are
just some of the It’s-a-Knockout Inflatable Madness Competitions,
which prove to be the funniest and testing activities that we
can offer. |

The participants negotiate their way around, deciphering clues,
collecting objects and information along with the obligatory photographic

for a bit!

transport to negotiate their way around the beautiful City of Lakes,

‘me olde sea dogs’ you will need to find your
‘sea legs’ as the teams find their nautical clues
gliding across the lakes of Killarney by boat. After ‘hauling
anchor’ the nautical race is on, gliding across the
lake solving clues and trivia. The boats will lead you to
a stunning historical site where your next adventure begins. |
 |

Now back on steady ground, the teams will be enjoy racing
around the centre of Killarney on foot. Can your group discover
where the cryptic clues are located before the enemy beats them

but I am sure you will have fun posing for them!!
Off-Road
4 X 4 Jeep Global Positioning Treks (GPS)
What better way to see magnificent sights than a mixture
of off and on road trails? Each team is issued with cryptic clues,
which will be crucial to their survival in the wilds of the countryside.
The participants negotiate their way around, deciphering clues,
collecting objects and information along with the obligatory photographic
evidence! Add to this the need to use G.P.S. navigational equipment
to assist you along with metal detectors so you can see this is
no ordinary trek.
Smash & Grab

your coloured bag and then follow the enclosed instructions. Sounds
easy don’t you think but this task will depend on how good
the aims are and also how well you all can work together to accomplish
the different team building scenarios. Are you up to the physical
work needed for some tasks, do you have a logical mind or are you
just going to follow the team and hope they know what’s going
on?

with time limits, participant constraints etc, but that just adds
to the fun!

pillaged cargo ships on the oceans. Now it's your turn to participate
in a modern day Pirate's Treasure Hunt. Competing boats, complete
with crew, navigate their way around the Atlantic collecting treasure
against the clock to avoid walking the Plank! Whilst out on the
deep blue sea, as a part of the Pirate Hunt, why not throw in a

points will be given for catching the various species.
Wildlife

While
one half of your group do this the other half will be engaged in
mind games as they get involved in team building tasks such as minefield,
manoeuvring the team across booby-trapped land – a game of
logic and strategy.
Other
popular team build games include multiskis, grown adults attempt
to negotiate an obstacle course shackled to skis designed for four
people. Try your hand at
All Adrift, cast adrift 100 miles away from civilisation, your team

commando or not you can see how well you work together with your

the Adventure Day Activities to thrill and excite. Why not try some
of these adventurous activities all pitched to your own level nothing
too hard or scary (unless you want it that way!). Try this for half
the day and for the other half why not try team-building tasks,
Laser Clay Shooting or War Game Adventures. A great way to conquer
some fears, try something new and of course work together in your
team or group, as you encourage each other to complete tasks, score
points oh and of course get over that 50ft cliff!

The
Kinsale Day
This activity is run in the stunning harbour town on Kinsale

able to travel to alternate locations subject to a site inspection.)
The Kinsale Day includes two activities from our inflatable madness
section combined with laser clays and team building activities.
Run over a full day the group is divided into smaller teams competing
against each other in a fun competitive format rotating around all
the activities throughout the day.

markets to start the day’s events. Each team purchases ingredients
for the opposing team, working to a fixed budget. The challenge

frame, to impress judges with their flair and presentation. Let’s
just hope sheep eyes or slippery eels are not on the shopping list!!!
Antiques

Participants are taken to a grand Stately Home to enjoy
the splendour of their environment. The teams are then let loose
to explore the stunning pieces of art and the challenge begins.
Not
knowing whether an item is a priceless heirloom or a phoney mock
item each team deliberates and prices each item out of the selection
offered for the judges.
Amazing revelations will shock and amuse the teams as the judges
reveal all.
Spiders Web Challenge
As the title suggests, a spiders web course is ready and
waiting for willing participants to slither and slide, bend and
stretch, negotiating their bodies through the contraption, without
getting tangled up. Visual & fun for both spectators and spider
challengers.
Raft
Building
Teams are given basic but necessary equipment to build
a life saving raft against the clock and other teams. Not only must
the raft be of an innovative build, it will need to be robust enough

until they have stretched their bows and arrows!

the slimey fish or jelly eels!!! All team members can join in as
suitable for all ages. Wellie Throwing - There is skill in the way
you manoeuvre your wellie. See how far you fling the boot. A very
competitive game for all.
TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES
WE RUN NUMEROUS TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES HERE ARE JUST A FEW LISTED
BELOW:-
How
about devoting the entire day to teambuilding, problem solving and
communication oh and of course fun! Team Building Events can sometimes
be perceived as a lot of analysis and facilitation! We can work
in both the more traditional way to accommodate you, or if you prefer,
a more informal way of discovering how well you and your peers/colleagues
work together. So whether its communication, leadership, teamwork
or just plain fun either option is our speciality!
How
about mixing together Lock Zone, Smash & Grab and Divide
& Conquer to get those brains going. I’m pretty
sure we could combine War Game Adventures in here somewhere with
these activities, if it sounds too much like work. These tasks will
address a number of areas including leadership, planning, role recognition,
time-management and delegation skills amongst others. The day can
be as formal or informal as required by the group and will be entirely
geared towards your needs.
Survival
Weekend
Taken by boat to a remote Island, can you survive without
your home comforts? The only shelter is what you build, and food
that you catch & cook. Robinson Crusoe survived can you?
Using
Mother Nature as your source, the team will combine their knowledge
to build fires, to cook your rations.
You
will be given various tasks to complete to lead you to shelter.
Further cryptic clues to solve will test your navigational skills,
as you are guided to parts of the island where team-building activities
await you.
Cops
& Robbers
A robbery is linked to the safety of a visiting foreign
dignitary. The only way to secure her safety is to apprehend the
robbers! Can the police find them in time - and keep within budget?
The objective is to locate and surround the suspects. Each "squad"
has its own budget and access, at a price, to underworld informants
and eyewitness accounts. Sooner or later squads realise that all
the necessary information is beyond the limits of their individual
budgets. Time to start talking to other squads. The whole group
needs to agree a way to purchase the right information, to piece
together the movements of the robbers and move to a final arrest
- but competitive instincts invariably hinder progress!
The concept of collaborative teamwork is fundamental to business
success. This activity opens the doors to information sharing, communication
channels, honesty, and united team success. The resistance of any
team to join in this process sparks enormous discussion and leads
to a template for more effective internal communications.
'Cops & Robbers is a great success and never fails to intrigue
and frustrate!'
The
Pyramid Phoenix Game
Pharaohs, Mummies and Egyptians are all involved in
of this mind bending game.
Ideal as a starter to teamwork, leadership and managing time.
Skill sets identified include problem solving and communication.
Both intellectual and practical teamwork is challenged in this
fun exercise. It demonstrates the importance of planning; understanding
the problem; identifying strengths and weaknesses; quality control
to avoid rework; morals, ethics and creativity. |
|
Montgomery’s
Revenge
Montgomery is dead and his safe lies undiscovered! Can
his followers find the loot together - or, as Monty predicted, will
they fight and squabble to the end?
Each team are given a brief, a map, a plan of a disused mine shaft
(where the loot is hidden) and some security codes and locks. For
each question correctly answered teams are rewarded with pieces
equipment desperately needed to get down the mineshaft. The race
is on - until teams realise they do not have all the necessary resources
for getting the treasure. Will individual teams waste valuable gold,
buying on the black market - in an attempt to take the treasure
for themselves - or will they persuade the other teams that the
only way is to work together and share the treasure?
Teams often see themselves as rivals, not allies. Teams succeed
in this lively exercise only if they co-operate with each other,
share information and build a trusting and honest climate. Often
teams will jump into the challenge without discussing the various
strategies required for success. This leads to wasted time, many
mistakes being made - and unclaimed treasure.
Follow The Leader (Leadership Skills Challenge)
An
excursion to the beautiful Church Island can be won and there
are points to collect en route. Will your team run away with
the prize?
In this tabletop simulation each team first chooses a leader.
Each leader is given a €300 budget, a map and 15 minutes
to familiarise themselves with the Brief. During this period
the rest of the teams complete questionnaires about leadership
qualities - for discussion later. Essentially teams must collect
as many points as possible by visiting post offices and lighthouses
- and beaches to get buckets of sand! Leaders, with their
own, chosen style of leadership, brief their teams and oversee
the activity. Information on costs, ferry timetables, time
and distance, overnight accommodation etc are available from
a computer databank - but information costs money - and eats
into a tight budget! Leaders must aim for a carefully constructed
plan that keeps everyone on board, fits the constraints and
picks up as many points as possible!
|
 |
Follow
The Leader clearly illustrates some important requirements of good
leadership, the need to brief the team well, to coordinate the strategic
planning process, to keep a watchful eye on budgets and other constraints,
to review and to keep good communications within the team. A challenging
exercise which gives leaders and teams a great opportunity to demonstrate
their skills. Ideal for assessing both leadership styles and team
roles.
Treasury Team
A treasure chest lies hidden in the Forest. It's all yours
- if you can find it - and the vital key - before anyone else! Briefs
are issued to the competing teams, containing vital clues to the
whereabouts of the four keys. So team members must realise that
they need to share their information. Once the location of the keys
is discovered, teams plan the fastest route to collect them and
so get to the treasure. The Trainer holds vital items that teams
need to locate the treasure and get it back to the start point.
And the quickest team wins!
Treasury Team brings the outdoors indoors with a classic team challenge.
It allows teams to put all their interpersonal and team skills into
action in a fun way, to demonstrate that they are the top banana!
Use at the start of an event to identify weaknesses or at the end
to practise what's been learnt.
Survival
of the Fittest
Are you properly prepared for survival in hostile mountains
- to accomplish a mission? If your morale gauge touches 'zero' -
it's a helicopter rescue!
Ancient and priceless stone must be located on the mountain map.
Working from details on the map, teams must plan a route to collect
the stones. Load has a bearing on travel speed, but not having the
necessary equipment may cause problems later! Finally, they must
put their plans into action. Weather conditions, via audiotape,
can cause delay, and affect morale - but morale gets a welcome boost
for every piece of stone retrieved.
Survive is a substantial, exciting activity tests organisation,
planning and decision-making skills. It also makes the link between
good preparation and high morale and motivation. Brings out the
Indiana Jones in us all!
